I bought one from NAPA about a year ago and it works great for me. Money well spent. The hose fits inside the fill plug hole with a little room to spare. You won't however know if you're full until you remove the hose from the filler hole. I changed out the fluid in both transmission and transfer case a couple days ago. My technique when I'm getting near full is to add a little at a time. Much easier than other methods I've tried. In the winter it works too, just more effort required. Naturally if you bring your oil in the house the night before it helps.
Have lots of rags at the ready as you will drip around some oil and also you want to wipe the hose every time so you don't bring dirt into your oil bottle.

What I dislike about pumps is not one size fits all containers.

The transfer case typically shares lube with a T90 so I often fill both “if” the shift tower has been removed.
Otherwise I fill both from their respective side bungs using a quality made hand pump.
On my current build it’s a T98-A so I must fill that separate from transfer case by unthreading the shift cane.
This Jeep also has a Spicer 18H PTO.
So I can fill the pto, the overdrive and tc all at the same time by removing the pto shift lever and pouring lube straight into the uppermost pto unit.

I use an outboard motor lower end oil pump for winterizing outboards, it screws on to a quart oil bottle. I topped up my knuckles last week, and now have a puddle of 90 weight under each knuckle, something I plan to address when I put my 11" front brakes on this summer. Good Luck

I had a mouse crawl into my tool box and spend the winter peeing all over inside my tool box, and it made a nest out of my toilet paper. It got in through that hole in your picture, I had to throw away everything not steel that was in my tool box. How it got in through that hole I will never understand? Rick

A full grown mouse only needs a dime sized hole to get through:

Just take an engine oil pump (something like sbc), tap the ends, put a hose, drill on it and voila oil pump.

I have one of those and I highly recommend it. In fact is use it when I changed the radiator on the '69 since the drain is right over the front axle.

I get my news from my iPad. I don’t understand how to get it in the hole. Now I have oil everywhere and can’t read my iPad now.
