    Shouldn't every homeowner have one of these? :D Been looking for a while for a used mini, and finally said the heck with it and bought a fairly new one. It is a rental with 400 hours and is a 2018. Angle blade too. I was able to finance it too. This machine is just under 10,000lbs, so I can tow it with my pickup at least. Between this and the backhoe, I can do pretty much anything I want now.

    Kubota brand. I love having a thumb. Makes it a more useful machine.

    Nice Nate. I've sort of been looking at the local craigs list stuff for one about that size also. The low hr machines are pricey. Lots of odd ball stuff out there but think Bobcat, Kubota, Cat, or JD would be preferable.

    Great find Nate.
    One nice attribute with that is you can pick something up and them move with it, something a backhoe can't do.
    I'm envious, you got all the cool toys :drool;

    Yeah, I would stick to a name brand. Even Yanmar, Takeuchi and Hitachi aren't bad. The dealer I got this one from sells their rental machines after a few years, so you still get one year factory warranty, but you save like 20K off a new one.

    Diesel, all equipment is pretty much. Fortunately nor DEF, only DPF. Anything over 75hp requires DEF.

    The backhoe has a 4 in 1 front bucket, which is good for rocks, logs and stumps, but not much more. And its heavy and doesn't like mud. Don't ask me how I know. :rolleyes:

    nice machine . I never ran one that small. get a big one stuck and it takes 2 cat D8 dozers with winches to pull it out . you can make swamp mats for it to work in mud . you need 3 . 2 to sit on and 1 to move

    When I was in Business had a IHI28J mini, loved that thing. That Yahmar diesel in it was nice

    Great Mini! you'll use the for an lifetime! And will replace your Backhoe in almost every way except moving material over distance. Gotta get some new LED's ordered up now!

    Not really, the backhoe can dig deeper and is more powerful. I'm sure I'll still use it for certain things.
