Are these trucks on a cj frame? Was seen at a local car show.

 

The orginal FC 150 was on a CJ5 frame if my old memory is correct

 

The FC pictured is a later "wide-track" with the wider axles. The first couple years had the CJ5 axle width and are referred to as "narrow-tracks". The narrow-tracks were based on a CJ5 frame where the springs mounted under the rails, same as the CJ5, but there are frame extensions reaching upward and forward to carry the FC cab front, so they are not the same frame.

What Keys5a said. Based on them, but not the same. Wide tracks shared the same frame rails still I think, but different axles, springs and hangers.

 

What a sharp looking FC. Except the white wall tires. A set of skinny Swampers and I would be in love.

 

As Donny said, similar frames but not the same. In addition to the turned up front horns, the frames are also strapped, not that that actually did much good as most still broke in the vicinity of the front spring hangers. Then there is that big chunk of cast iron tucked up under the butt. The narrow track versions are the same WMS/WMS as the CJ's (about 49 1/2"). The wide track are 57".

My father bought a used 57 in 1957 and that was a really handy vehicle for a small ranch, not to mention I wheeled the hell out of it when I was in high school. It would pretty much go anywhere a stock CJ of the era could. The 57 is still here but not likely something I'm ever going to get around to resurrecting.
