4.3 Ecm/computer Auto To Manual Conversion

my 95 vortech has a port on the back of the intake hooked to the vacum booster.is this one a throttle body or have the spider injectors?

 

Spider injectors! SPPPOOOOOOOKKKEYYYYY!!!!!!!!! Since this astro used hydroboost, i guess I need something from the blazer manifold that will give me a vacuum port..

 

Probably going to do something like this, but the intake is plastic.

Drill and epoxy in a pipe thread bushing.

 

I have not verified yet, but apparently the intake has an o ring installed threaded hole to tap into.

Also looking at flywheels, seems I can use any chevy flywheel, or maybe only the 96 to 2000 blazer/s-10 ones. Cant quite figure that one out. Also the crank hole is like an inch in diameter. seems that a sealed ball bearing gets installed. I hav never seen that type of bearing. generally sintered bronze or oilite type.

Parts are readily available though! Not super expensive either.

 

Vortec vehicle speed sensor.... Going to need a sensor to generate the purses in order for the computer to tell the engine its moving. This one is inline on the speedo cable and is inexpensive

Is this where the vacuum hose for the brakes attach to the intake?
