This is a new one. Went out for a jeep ride and oil started dripping on my foot. Looks to be coming from the instrument cluster. All I can think of is that oil was flung up the cable by rotational force, until the line was full and it started to drip out?

    :shrug:what gives?

Check the trans/Tcase breathers, they may be clogged. You may have expansion causing enough pressure to push oil up through speedo cable. That’s the only way I could see it pushing oil up to Speedo.

I think I would check that the transfer case vent is working . never heard of oil being pushed up that far . mine always leaked at bottom

Norcal69 did a very nice write up on his build page on how to do a fix for that leak.It involves a little machining and installing a seal. I have done this on both of my dana 18 t/c's with no leaks. mike
