They seem just a little bit modern for a 1974 but then again how would I know?;)

Definitely not stock but they're vintage aftermarket.

Vintage aftermarket stuff is plenty cool. Those remind me of the early 80's more than 70's but dig 'em.

Those were call Turbo Wheels or something like that around here, they came out after the slot mags were out for a while.

Because of the oxidation , I'm gonna take a guess at American Racing Magnesium wheels? Popular in the late 60's, early 70's There may be stampings on the inside rim ? Crager also made Magnesium wheels, among others. That is where the term 'MAG ' wheels came from.:shrug:

Western made several different rims with variations of that style.

Often, there is a brand cast on the inner barrel or one the backside of the lug area. You need to pull the wheel (not the tire) off to see this, if its even there.

Magnesium wheels corrode to a very dark gray finish, almost black, and are extremely light weight. I've never seen aftermarket Jeep wheels that are real magnesium. Aluminum alloy, either cast or forged, will corrode with a white, sometimes powdery, oxidation. Nearly all aftermarket, and the factory Renegade slot wheels are aluminum. The Renegade wheels are forged, a much stronger wheel.

Decoding the VIN number. I can send the sheet from the factory service manual when I get home later.

Dude ... Those wheels are definitely not stock ! I got curious and can not find anything like 'em out there ? They reminded me of older 'Vette wheels, but not even close..... Very unusual indeed.

It’s for a 1973 model year but should be the same unless someone says so

I thought the original factory wheels had a slot that was more "D" shaped. These to me look aftermarket. Then again I'm no expert.
