70 Cj5 Differences In Same Model Year

    Mmm, not likely IMO. The agency vehicles aren't collected by anybody, AFAIK. Not like the mil vehicles which have a fan base of sorts, and can be really different from civilian vehicles. The agency vehicles are typically civilian models bought under contract by the GSA for one of the agencies. Like the Nat'l Park Service buys a bunch of pickup trucks that they drive around to do whatever they do... they are just pickup trucks, not much appeal. Singularly unglamorous. I recall back in the '70s my boss would bid on government surplus, and there were lots of pickup trucks and cars available. Usually they would go for way too much since they were always pre-scavenged worn out junk ... people thought they were getting a deal because it's surplus.

    Cool, yes. Interesting. :coffee: If you sold it, you might get a buyer that fixates on the data plate. Then it might be enough to bump the sale in your favor... but I would not count on it.
