Looking to replace the suspension on my '58 CJ5. No lift, just keeping it stock. What's the best package to get and from where? After 60 years, it's time for a smoother ride.

I put a 1" lift Rancho set on my stock C J 5, the 1" lift will settle a little, and used the stock shocks, with 7:50 X 15" tires. It is close to original, and still rides like a Jeep. I don't think you can make a Jeep ride like a car, or even if you even want to. An early C J 5 is a farm Tractor with a plate on it, and that is hard to change, it is a compromise at best. Good luck

The best suspension is the 3.5" Rocky Road YJ Spring upgrade. It's the best flex and soft springs you can buy.
