Steering Wheel Issues

Knowing some of us are "healthier" than others, has anyone installed a quick release steering wheel hub on their original steering shaft? This would be for ease on getting in and out. If so, what brand? I'm afraid if it gets welded on, it would be a pain to pull the shaft in the future. Any suggestions would be helpful.

We plan on installing a smaller steering wheel.

    Ross or saginaw steering?

    If Sagy manual or power?

Complete stock set-up in the '55. I believe that is the Ross unit.

    Bowbender I'm workin' on it!

You may find the smaller wheel won't give you the "leverage" you want (need) with the Ross system.
