Moving from the introduction thread to build thread.
We picked up both Jeeps today and made it home just as the snow started. So both Jeeps look like they are complete frames are decent both rolled onto the trailer with transmission in neutral. One body is probably not salvageable the other is questionable still going to take some tin work. Have some pictures of the under side.

Snow is nice, and it is nice to have a windshield/snowshield.
I also see that you bought a rust collector, lot of work but with time all is possible.
And I see a good brave dog, what's the name?

Yank it out with that skidder. Jeep looks like it grew there. Perfect!

We live just outside of Bangor. Spent the morning cleaning the garage had a lot of stuff just dumped in there had to move out 3 motorcycles and put them in the shed might get it in there soon. Sprayed PB Blast in the cylinders on the red jeep have to find some marvel mystery oil to put in there also see if I can get the motor to break free. Once I get it inside have to figure out where to start...

I saw the dog too; handsome. Dogs and Jeeps go together well.

Loving these photos. Rusty and crusty they are, but with potential.
Which is the better of the two, the blue or the red?

Father in law never had the blue-green one running the body it very rotten in the back. The red one was running 15 years ago my wife almost bounced her grams out of it when she was younger. Still has the atv registration plate on there. Probably going to start with the red one and see how it goes. My wife already claimed the blue one she is determined to stretch the frame and buy a scrambler type body for it...

Lots of hopes and dreams. Have to see what happens.

The dog is Lady she was a rescue 4 years ago. Goes just about everywhere with us including on the atv and jeep adventures.

Yup emcc was going to wyo tech on a scholarship but he was in a bad car accident and couldn’t make the September start. They are closing after this class so we had to find alternative schooling. At least the mike Rowe foundation will still give him their scholarship to go here.

That green one could have been my Jeep when I started. Even the hardtop is the same. It'll take a lot of work to get them back to good condition, but its all simple stuff, so with some enthusiasm and grit (and cash) you'll have one, or even two great Jeeps out of the deal. Good luck!

So we finally got it in the garage my stepdaughter was helping get the top doors and hood off. Had to clean out all the crud out of the inside it actually looks like the foot wells and most of the floor is solid. Someone did some tin work all the way around the back. Very nice job.
