Got these yesterday. Not sure I'll ever use them but......I was told they came off the "racer" this guy once ran. Obstacle course racer. Anyway, I've never seen these before. Only ever really saw the run of the mill fender well headers most folks use. I know some of you have those fancy block hugger shorty deals but, I don't know that these are those. I'm thinking they are older as this guy has not raced in years.

No idea what they are but do you think you could get exhaust inside the frame rails with those? They look really cool. Homemade maybe?

I looked at the pics before I read your text. My first thought was, "Those are racing headers!" I have no idea where they came from, but it seemed like every guy with a V6 CJ or Commando racer ran them back in the day. If nobody has an answer, I can probably find out for you with a text to some old racing buddies on Monday.

Muzik----I have no idea if the exhaust would go inside the frame or not, but I kind of think so. Part of the reason I'd like to know more about them.

ITLKSEZ-----If it wouldn't be too much trouble, yea, I'd like to learn as much as possible about them. As much for a history lesson as anything. I'd appreciate it. Maybe a chance to catch up with some old friends for you, too? Thanks for any info you can provide on them.

He works in a 4x4 shop; he said he'll check the books tomorrow, but he thinks Hedman still makes them.
