I don't understand...Are you aware that you can post them right to this site? Easy-Peasy, man.

I literally just took a picture of this page, used the "Upload a file" button over there ------>

...and posted up. (has to be under 1mb which is easy to edit down using MS office standard image viewer to reduce file size.)

What upload to file button? I don't see anything that looks like that. In your post, I see an icon between the happy face and image icons but I don't have that.

Ahhhh, Kemosabe!!! You don't have the proper setup to ride this range. Got it. Maybe Focker can get you setup. I don't know what getting that button activated entails. Maybe a minimum post count? No idea.

I did replace those awful long front shackles. But the spring sag is kinda too much on the front, so I'll be putting new springs on the front end.

"Looks great! Looks like it could be factory."

That was kind of the idea as this progressed. While Chuchua made the Gaucho in 1978, what is Jeep did it earlier closer to the transition from CJ5 to CJ7...… Sure I welded on the battery box cover and the driver side early mirror mount, I put TJ doors on, I removed the hood bulge, used part of a cut down Meyer top, used a CJ5 filler neck for the fuel access on the bed, and used CJ5 fender flares on the back and not the trapezoidal CJ8 flares, and its a fleetside instead of the original Gaucho step side bed.

I need to finish up the interior, I want to pad the top and cab side panels, put a center console in, heated seats, and some other cosmetic stuff. As for mechanicals, I'm thinking of doing a GM power boost unit install for the brakes. Plus, I'm leaning on changing to a smoothie steel wheel, and painting them some contrasting color.

The rear of the cab has a back panel that is removable, this is a view with the back panel removed. Oh, all the black, "Jeep" "4WD" and "Gaucho" are all painted, no stickers.

I don't know what it is about this forum but when I try to click on your photos it throws an error at me that I don't have permission to view these photos. I really want to see a full size picture of the finished product this thing looks amazing even before it was finished.

By default, you have to make some number of posts before you can see pictures hosted locally on the site. However, if you make a request here http://www.earlycj5.com/xf_cj5/index.php?threads/image-permissions-i-cant-view-pictures.119206/, the moderators can give you permission immediately.

I am in the midst of adding front and rear sway bars. I picked up a set for a TJ, and got the rear installed, and am waiting on the links for the front. They fit well, and will hopefully limit sway/ body roll. I also picked up some new leaf springs for the front from BDS, waiting on the spring eye bushings hope to have that done this weekend.

Getting lots of comments driving this around over the past year. A lot of, so thats an “old gladiator”, and when i tell them no the confusion begins.......

Admining a local Jeep group I've found that most newer Jeep owners have no interest in Jeep history past a superficial understanding that their Wranglers are related to the original Jeep in someway.
