I de-rusted a MC 2100 throttle shaft. Then had a kielbasa and kraut sammich. And flan for dessert. 1555723382660-1030215918.jpg

I’m not sure about anyone else but I enjoy the Jeep parts with food posts. Keep ‘em coming.

Scored these Corbeau Moab seats on Facebook this morning. Yes I sat in them bootlegged up and daydreamed

It's been raining all week and I've been looking forward to today because the forecast was something besides rain. I wanted to work on wiring my '68 jeep project and I was outside by 7 am.

The alternator requires an external regulator.

The regulator looks like it's in bad shape.

A new regulator from RockAuto is about the same price as a one-wire alternator. I'm just going to get a one-wire alternator.

I've probably posted this picture before, but here it is again. This is the jeep project the day I picked it up from the seller a few years ago.

The rest of the jeep was in a trailer pulled by my truck. In that pile of parts is an unused 23 year old Painless wiring kit. The manual in that kit was printed in 1996. That's the wiring kit I'm installing.

    Here's that pile-of-parts jeep today.

That photo of trailering it home is crazy. I expect to see the Cosby Kids jump out playing junkyard instruments.

Where did you get the filler neck grommet? I need one, too.

On ebay, search: "fuel tank filler grommet M38A1".

ITLKSEZ Hope for the best, prepare for the worst

FYI, the M38a1 tank has a wider opening than the CJ.

Last night, actually. I either plumbed the MC to bench bleed...or I developed a new kind of still. 20190422_185200-864x864.jpg
