What can you tell me about a governor?

    These were used on jeeps set up with PTO driven equipment such trench diggers or saws that need a constant speed.

    The CJ2A Owner's Manual

    not listed was a NOVI brand which replaced the two mentioned ones....

    Then there was a host of single speed governors used for stationary engines such as welders, generators and the such...
