Re-attaching the mid crossmember(tranny mount), and I can't remember its orientation. Does the side I've got the arrow pointing to face the front of the jeep, or does the other side?

Also, there are two sets of holes on the frame where this crossmember can mount, one set right behind the other. I'm assuming it mounts to the first set of holes closest to the front of the Jeep as I have the t14, which is pretty short compared to most transmissions. Thanks for your time!

You're right on all accounts. The other side of the crossmemeber (without the arrow) has the boss and two holes where the tranny mount bolts up for a T-18 (maybe the T-14 as well - I'm not sure). Also, for the T-18, you use the rear-most set of holes in the frame, so I assume the front holes are there for the T-14.

Thanks 53Flattie. I checked out your pics too - always love checking out other's projects. Your axles cleaned up pretty nicely! I'll be picking my axle housings up from the sandblaster tomorrow morning. What did you paint yours with? I like the shine

    Thanks.

I just used Rustoleum primer then Rustoleum Gloss black. I seem to use that stuff for everything!

BTW: I really need to updated those pictures. They are from last year. I have since finished that Jeep and started "resto-modding" one for another guy.

    Here's mine currently:
