Got a question about pulling hubs. If you have one lug nut tighter against the pulling arm and the other two not as tight. Will the puller pull the hub off at a little bit of a angle causing it to bind against the axle shaft making it hard to get off or not come off at all. This topic comes up all the time and this though crossed my mind

It can cause it to bind depending on the puller. I have found that with solid preasure on the axle from a good sized and centered puller, it's not an issue.

I've also found that that technique that works for me is to load up the puller, then whack the drum, 90 degrees to the puller, rinse, repeat.

I got the one from KaiserWillys and it worked like a charm. About 5 minutes with it and I got it to pop right off.

That puller and a 5 pound sledge did the trick nicely! Thanks for all the help!
