Matching numbers

    I spoke to a guy the other day that claimed that Jeep have matching numbers like other cars. In diff words he was trying to convince me that the VIN matched the motor, the rear axle and also was stamped on the frame. In fact the guy was a police officer. Any thoughts or feedback?

    The VIN is on the frame, and the VIN tag on the firewall. There are no other "matching" numbers on any drive train parts...

    Hi Patrick,

    Ron from Dallas here. Where is the VIN on the frame is it stamped or a tag. Also nothing on the axles? By the way, we made back just fine with all stuff you sold us, great trip.
