Tech Info on CJ's Speedometer???

Did we ever get an article or something together about the differant year speedometers that came in the CJ's??

71 at Least. I've got up to 79 so far. How far do you think I should go?

 

It's on my 66. I'm the 2nd owner, and the fire dept here bought it new, if it's not original than a lot of people were wrong.:? What are the differences and makes this a 79 speedo? Inquiring minds want to know.......

 

So sorry, my bad. Omix-ada shows their speedo cluster fits from 55 to 79. Jeep used the heck outa this setup for alot of years it would seem...

 

From what I've seen so far is, that this type (0-9) was used from 58 thru 69.

 

I'm not sure about this one but it's in a 1970..can you tell me anything about this one???

Is it a aftermarket???
