A set of jeep 1960-70 hub caps with the removable center doohickey for the warn hub. A set of Warn from the junk yard off a jeep or a Scout. A set of cheap gauges. Paint your jeep with a brush and some enamel. It will look great from 10 feet. Replace your short windshield and frame to the taller one found on 71 and later jeeps. You'll finally be able to get a quality wiper blades that fit. Install an electric wiper motor. Fix and/or adjust the emergency brake. Change the oil and filter, check all the fluids. Rebuild the bell crank. Adjust the drag link. Adjust the head lights
Change out the head lights for haleogens.

I just picked up a couple free items.
A pair of stock yj bumpers (which buddy swapped for bigger ones)
Then a stock wagonneer bumper (waiting on the rear one, too)
Some square taillights (I didn't have any)
A pair of wheels (mine were damaged)

basic stuff, but my priority is gettin on the road! better stuff comes later

Another often overlooked detail by some is to fill in your location at the top of the page so we know where you are. There are members here all over and can help you find little things for cheap.

Underhood lighting that came from a mid to late 80's Chebby truck. these things are great. The have long wire that reels back in like a garden hose and snaps into place, on off switch. I can reel it out and put light anywhere around the JEEP. Got it for free from a buddy who was selling his truck. I grab them up at the junk yard whenever I see them and pass them around to friends. Great for any vehicle.

Great idea about the wiper blade replacement. The rubber on the after market unit is lossy.

How about this: I got a over flow tank for the radiator and mounted it on the side of the nose shell by the alternator. $7.95. Oh, don't be as dumb as I was. The plastic tank nipple for the hose is not pre-drilled. Duh!!!
