    1. rubber grommet for tube to floor on Ross steering.

    2. Yes, Horn wires. Red always hot and black should be grounded by the column switch.

    Thank you…

is there more than a grommet? There are 2 threaded holes around the circle.

I’m sure there will be more working questions…
I’m still missing stop lamps despite power at the switch. Don’t have my turn signal wired up yet, sure that will be another level of frustration.

Great build, love that color. Do you know what the name of that orange color is?

There are threaded holes in the floor…. There isn’t anything that goes there like a flange ??

I think those hole were added by a previous owner. My unmolested '69 does not have holes there:

    Things coming together…

few questions I posted in the tech forms about cable routing, need to dial everything in and nut and bolt a 10 year build, but the first few trips up and down the street just proved I need higher gears in the diffs…

getting some shudder and clutch possibly not disengaging all the way… time will tell and I continue to shake it down…

the CJ5 and the CJ6 just officially met as well… some little man syndrome occurred

Mine was doing that shudder thing. Turned out to be completely worn out clutches in my powr-loc. Does yours have a powr-loc?

    been whipping this guy around...
    over geared, but still fun..

brakes pull a bit under heavy braking, but that gear click or shudder is still existent sometimes..
D18 doesn't have a torque mount, I don't think that's all of this, maybe contributing..

temp gauge is wonky.. reads 3/4 hot or full hot.. that's about it motor isn't running hot, checked with a laser thermometer..

nice little truck, remember why I built it now :)
