Interesting - is that the final routing for the driver's side, except for the flange location? How will the steering go around the rearmost (#5? Can't remember which side is odd and which is even...) tube?

Odd is the D side - mine looks a little funny due to the 2" body lift I have on it. If you don't have the lift it's pretty clean from the 'normal' column position for doing a Saginaw as the column comes out lower from the firewall.

For me, I am going to remount the column to position my column end lower - this will actually give me a better setup inside as I am tight on my front cage strecher.

I'll be different again and say I don't like the Headmans 'cause they are inline with the tires. drop off a big rock with the front tire and land smack on the tubes/collector. Hookers are pricey but they exit close to the outside of the frame.just gives you a little bit more ,,,these are the hooker super comps sorry i don't have a pic of my rig displaying the headmans:) .........[IMG]

I too am replacing the headers on my 225. I had to return the novak block hugging headers pictured earlier in this thread because the #5 tube interfered with the steering column of my '62 m38a1. I did find what looks like the proper headers at advance adapters (Paso Robles) but have yet to receive them (back ordered). -btw- the headers novak sent me were manufactured by sanders (San Francisco).

I currently run the AA Headers - my reason for going to the block hugger design is I want to put sliders on that attach to the outside of the frame. The AA headers with super Traps run right along the frame (hight wise) and that is where I want to attach the slider mounts.
