Don’t let Fireball see that, he’ll want to move into it and renovate it.

When I saw the post about the Varg, I thought, "man is that interesting." But to see it completed is totally amazing.

I am constantly amazed at the skill of the members here. I love a nicely restored original Jeep, I could look at them all day.
I see some Craigslist Jeeps where people tried to modify a Jeep and it just doesn't work.
This not only works, it improves on factory engineering.

This is a great build, It all fits so well, I am truly impressed. I can go back and look at the pictures and see something else hand made I missed before and just think,
    "Man is that Cool."

I think of those Automotive Engineers like Harley Earl, and Karl Probst, who designed the Bantam Jeep.

The modified Jeeps like this one are so well engineered, I can't help but marvel at the time and thought that went into designing these.
Designing them is one thing, but to make it all work and the execute the plan and make it work.

My hat's off to you and this incredible build. Your Varg should be written up in magazines. Inspiring!

    Thanks for posting this.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.

The hardest part, by far, wasn’t figuring out how things were going to fit, or how Swedish parts were going to mate to US parts, or parsing the EFI and electronic ignition wiring into an aftermarket harness... it was staying motivated to see it through to the end. So many projects get started by people and end up on CL in boxes, and it’s no surprise why. Looking too far ahead when it’s just a bare frame is horribly daunting. Knowing there was years, not weeks or even months of work ahead of me until it was drivable... that had me sick to my stomach a few times. Take your projects one day at a time and set small goals. Don’t give up!

I have to remind myself of that a lot.

"... it was staying motivated to see it through to the end."

Good advice for those of us who have long term projects and not much gets done.

Thanks for the inspiration. Can't eat the elephant in one bite.

Just remember, it comes apart real easy, then you say, "So that's how that works."
Now as a expert, you can spend several years trying to get it back together again.

    In my case anyway.

That build is so unique and impressive it belongs in a jeep build museum. Love that super stance as well.

A question out of the subject : I read books and again I find this idea about Cadillac cars.
    These are books around 1950.
It is written that Cadillac do not make noise, cannot hear the engine.
Is there something special with these cars ?
