From what I have read the dana 18 and dana 20 are interchangeable . Does the bronco dana 20 keep the same bolt patterns being interchangeable with the T-90 tranny as well ?

I have been considering going to a Ford D44/9in but would like to keep the 225 and T-90 just trying to figure out how im going to get the drivers side driveshaft ...

Keep in mind that while the case is interchangeable and the bolt patterns are the same, the D18 is an offset output and the D20 is centered. Switching between the 2 means swapping axles to keep the rear driveshaft angle in check.

    Understand that completely ...

If I were to do this I would lengthen wheelbase also .

Bronco D20 is completely different, has a different bolt pattern on the transmission side. You're going to have to narrow the ford axles anyway unless you are going ultra wide, so you may as well just remove and replace the short side tube if you want a HP 44

use bronco gears in the 20 to center the 18's output.

Huh? It doesn't quite work that way. There is a way to use a combination of Jeep D20, D18 and bronco gears to create a 2.46 low range D20, but you only use 1 gear out of the bronco case.
