As you all probably know, I am not a fabricator, welder, nor pretend to be. The equipment I have to use is a little dated and finicky:oops:, and the biggest obstacle is that I have had to learn on my own mostly, with a little advice here and there from others.

    Here goes.

The seats are out of a BMW 3-series, although I don't know what year. I got them for free, and spent about 10-12 hours :smash: making the seat brackets out of 1" square tubing.

I'm still working on getting the pictures to show in text, as opposed to attachments, but ya'll get the idea. The welding ain't pretty, but it holds me up (that's not too bad, either), and hasn't given me any trouble. Thanks for the inspiration:beer:, and hopefully I'll have some of the other upgrades done before the year is out.

M-Series huh... Never thought about that. The Kaiser would be proud!

I looked at several BMW seats at the junkyard but all of them looked to have 300k miles of fatass in them. I ended up with some dodge seats.

These aren't bad, and the best part is they're vinyl, so it's just a wipedown with a damp cloth, and done! The father of a friend of mine had them for his wife's Vette, didn't match the interior, so I got 'em for free.
