HEI conversion and manifold bolt

    I am getting ready to do the HEI conversion from CRT and need to know the size of the manifold bolt that needs to be replaced. I will be doing it after work and do not want to(hopefully) do it in two evenings(stopping to get the bolt the next day). I know it needs to be a round head/alllen type but thread size and length. Thanks

    3/8-16 but I'm not sure on the lenght. You could pull one out and measure it.

    1 1/2" maybe?

    Mine hasnt had a bolt in that manifold hole for 20 yrs with no leakage problems. Larry:)
