Sorry guys for the long delay. I have been busy with work and our new baby. I have managed to find some time to do some minor things, but it is still a work in progress. I got my wiring harness for Christmas and have not even taken it out of the box. Mcruff has offered several times to come help me with it, but our schedules usually conflict.

My wife an I try to keep our child everyday. We both work and Sophia (our baby) has to go to a baby- sitter 1-2 days a week. We are unfortunate in the aspect that we do not have any family close to keep her on weekends, so that eats up the time I could be working on my Jeep. Sophia is 6 months old now so it won't be long until she can help me. I think it is a good trade off getting to spend time with my daughter now while she is young, instead of sending her off for someone else to keep while I work on my Jeep.

I hope I make the time and have my Jeep finished by Spring. Keep your fingers crossed.

Hey Sparky, do you think you could swing a ECJ daycare?

Yer 6 looks great! Nice job:) Life gets a little crazy when the little ones come. I think you've got your priorities screwd on right and you'll be glad you spent the time with her as that time goes by very quickly.

Haven't checked this thread in a while. Man, that is one sweet looking JEEP. Your paint turned out awesome. That white hardtop is going to compliment that body color well. Can't wait to see more pics.

You're about to get over the hump with your 6mo old. I think about the 1yr mark it got easier, then it gets hard again when they are potty training (between 2 and 3).

Thanks Clint. I have my windsheild on now and I think you are right, the white hardtop will look good. I really don't care about potty training, I will just be glad when she sleeps through the night. I have been sleep deprived for the last 6 months. I get a break every third day at the Fire Station, but we usually don't sleep through the night. I know millions of other parents have survived, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I hope to start making more progress on my jeep in the near future, keep your fingers crossed.

The color I used on my Jeep is Blue Granite Metallic. It came on 07 GM 1/2 ton trucks.

Jim when do you want to come. I'll buy your plane ticket. R)

trickpatrick- The wheels are Eagle Alloy polished aluminum 17x8. They have a style number, but I will have to look it up. I think it maybe 787.

The tires are 34x10.5x17 Super Swamper LTB's.

    Thanks for the great comments.

It has been long enough since my last update. I have managed to get remotivated on my project. I have owned this jeep for over 3 1/2 years and have never driven it. As most of you know, my technical advisor ( Mcruff) has been a big help to me. It is bad too say, but Mike and I can't seem to get any days togeather to work on my 6. I have come to the conclusion that I am going to have to finish my jeep and I hope I don't mess anything up too bad. I am sorry in advance Mcruff for anything you may have to fix in the future. I worked in my shop all day today and got my headlights and taillights installed, got my radiator in place, and got my seats bolted down. I also installed my wiring harness and started running wires. I have been saying this for a long time, but I hope I can drive tthis thing in a few months.
