Does anyone know if the single stick shifter mount(part on the left) has a bend in it or if it should be flat. Ours is bent and before we straighten it we thought we would check first. Also our other linkage part(one on the right) is very loose and does anyone know where to find a NOS replacement? Is there an exploded view of this shifter assembly anywhere out there? Thanks

Mine is bent slightly the same. My "one on the right" is loose also. After replacing the brass bushing that slides over the one on the left and new brass washers on shift rail attachment points mine is very firm and working great. I don't think anyone makes a NOS single stick linkage or components?

Mine is bent like that, too -
I was going to straighten it as well, maybe I'll wait and see what kind of responses we get. My poor jeep had a little abuse from the previous owner, so I'm not sure if this is common under those conditions or if it was made that way...

MOP, Do you remember what size bronze bushing you used? Thanks

nope. I drove the existing one out of the pivot, took it with me to True Value hardware, then found the same size to match. The ones they sell are a little longer, so I pressed it in then used a flimsy hacksaw to cut it flush.

the piece on the left is bent about the same on mine but the right side piece should be available at any good bearing/hardware store.PS they come in left and right thread.

Found both the bushing and swivel at Tractor Supply Co and after rebuild the shifter is tight and works great. Also replaced the poppet springs and balls in the transfercase and now it stays in gear.
