SOLD, SOLD I have a complete heater from a 1963 CJ5 Tux Park. It has the blower, coils, ductwork, switches, cables. The ductwork leaves a little to be desired as it’s made of a cardboard type material but it is useable or fixable. I know tux parts are hard to find so please take it off my hands. I’m asking 50.00 plus shipping. Send message or call or text at 225-978-2403. I’m in Baton Rouge.

Morning! Is the heater package still available? I live in Texas and would need it shipped. I can Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal. Thanks!

Winner, winner my friend. Send me your address and I’ll get a price for shipping. I take Venmo. We can work out the payment details later on.

That gray stapled cardboard is the original ductwork. If you get a chance it would be good to photograph and measure before it's too beat up. Most of those ducts are gone to the ages.

One of the pieces of ductwork is still in good shape, the other piece just needs some small repairs. I used some very thin sheet metal to repair the one for the glovebox and it worked out great.

That heater assy was also used on ‘61-‘63 regular CJ5’s, and not unique to the Tux.

That is correct my friend. I just wanted to note that it came out of a tux park just in case someone needed it to finish that special tux restoration. Finding original tux parts can be quite tricky at times and some parts are almost impossible to acquire. The reason I got rid of it is because we don’t have much of a winter in Louisiana and if it does get cold I let the jeep rest for awhile. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Just confirming that all the things checked out. The plenum is as described, the controls are functioning well (even the fan speed control functions) and the fan motor blows strong and noiselessly. I haven't tested the heater core yet, but running water through it produced no visible leaks. This was a great buy and it will help ensure my wife has an enjoyable jeep ride experience in the fall and spring months. Thanks!

Glad it all worked well I did notice a mud dauber nest in the blower so you might want to Check thst out. The core never leaked so it should be good to go. Hope your wife stays toasty.

I got my original Tux hood painted and put back on my Tux Clone this week, I had a 66 hood on it before but wanted the 64 Tux hood with the snorkel knock out on it back on it. Now my Tux is complete except for the Tail lights, I had them but gave them to a member that was rebuilding an original Tux.
