I have a really nice 71 frame with 4 cylinder mounts and am wanting to convert it to v6 for my Renegade I rebuild and wondering if anyone has a good set of frame mounts to sell. I do have the frame mounts on my 71 v6 frame, but I want to use that frame as a reference for modifying the 4 cylinder frame.

I have a set of factory buick 225 frame mounts from an early cj5. These are the steel pieces that were cut off of a frame.

I also have a factory set that I cut off my original 1970 frame.

Had an '85 Cherokee with 2.8 liter V6. Got tired of replacing motor mounts and fabbed up some poly mounts. The vibration traveled
throughout the entire vehicle. Went back to stock as it was the ex's car. Junk vehicle with that engine anyway. I would steer clear
of poly on any vehicle used on the street. My 2-1/2 cents.

If I’m not mistaken, factory motor mounts are also rubber. If you felt vibration all the way through the vehicle, I think your problem might have been something else causing said vibration. Maybe something out of balance? I’ve had both styles ( factory and aftermarket) and if I was forced to try to feel a difference, I guess I’d say I don’t feel hardly any vibration at all.

Poly not rubber. Went back to rubber. I did replace the harmonic balancer once though. Crap motor, the 2.8 GM.
