A little tease for you guys. My wife had one of these pass her on the highway and said she wanted one....so you know me....I'm on it.
She wants it just like the picture, blue and white but with a white roof. I'll post more pictures as I get the time but what I've done so far

Shortened frame to make it a short bed.
Converted from a 4 spd to automatic with Overdrive.
    Rebuilt everything.
350 motor bored to 380, brand new aluminum heads and intake manifold, electronic ignition
    Holley sniper fuel injection
    14 bolt rear differential
    12 bolt front differential
    Disk breaks all around
    New warn locking hubs
    4" suspension lift
purchased a factory A/C unit from someone and putting that in.

    More to follow

Definitely watching this! I would've been in junior high when my brother bought his '68 long bed, two wheel drive. That truck left a huge impression on me still so many years later. I've wanted one, but I really don't need one.

Are your plans to put a '71-'72 grill on it? For whatever reason, I really like the '69-'70 grills on 4x4 short beds.

    Great work!
    Isn't this actually a K20 because its 4wd?

While technically yes the K20 badge was only put on the blazers and the C20 was put on the pickups. The K is only in the serial number on the pickups

I switched out the differentials so I can put disc brakes on all 4 corners

When rebuilding the transfer case I forced the intermediate shaft in and oops... luckily I found a bare housing on Ebay

I love these trucks. I have a '69 Blazer that I have had for a decade and a half that I cannot find the time to work on. I approve of keeping that '70 grille, most people do not recognize that one. Kind of sad to see another long bed shortened but I completely understand it.

Funny guy. Unlike my CJ it is actually in one piece, registered, and insured. I have a pile of vintage parts to put on it and it needs a ton of restoration work but it will be a project to do with my son when he gets a little older. My brother already has dibs if I die or otherwise want to get rid of it!
