Does anyone know where to find the rubber bumper (or stops) that goes on the rear legs at the base of the CJ5 seats? Thanks!

No, but I found a chair leg rubber boot that looks and works well, if you don't need factory correct.

I got very respectful replacements from my local ace hardware.

A chair leg rubber boot would work, that is all it is anyway, but put a fender washer in the bottom to keep the tubing from cutting through.

Isn't that a crutch tip? Take it to your local CVS and compare - they have stuff like that on pegs there.

The ones at Walcks are the same as what they sell at hardware stores. They are only a buck and a half each, but you have to pay shipping. I am pretty sure the boots on my CJ5 are original, they are flat on the bottom, and have flat washers in them to keep the tubing from cutting through.

I can always put them to the belt sander to flatten the bottom and cut a piece of flat stock if no washer fits. I could also weld shut the bottom end of the seat base to prevent cutting through the rubber. I still have to get them upholstered. I have time...

Sanding down the rubber boots is an exercise in futility, and welding shut the bottom of the tubes is sort of the same thing. Finding a 1" flat washer is not so difficult.
