Yes I actually couldn’t find that post and contacted Ryan to point me towards it. I’m not sure the direction I’m headed yet. I may try to fix them and if that doesn’t work move on to that fix which seems to be really solid.

The pot metal and lamp look ok. No huge damage. I don’t plan on re-chrome, I was hoping to keep the Jeep vintage and run with it.

Having a complete drop down license plate holder with the glass tube is even harder to find than the bumpers! That glass tube I have never seen for sale by itself.

Back to the top. Hey guys I've been off riding my motorcycle all over Idaho and haven't done anything Jeep related in months. Today I carved out some time to get the old 67 a real once over. I had got it running when I bought it but it was rough. Turns out it was a super easy fix, bad fuel pump. Replaced that and it starts right up no problem and idles decent. I am seeing a whole bunch of rinke dink stuff the previous owners have done. I think the guy I bought it from really didn't do much but put a battery in it. The PO to him jury rigged a bunch of stuff like the gas lines from the tank and wiring. It's all gotta be replaced to make it safe. The brakes work but it pulls slightly to one side. All in all though it runs and drives. Pretty happy with that. I wanted to get it running so I could drive it to walk the dog about a 1/2 mile away and then just put it up for the winter in my shipping container. I'm down to a one car garage and my Renegade 1 project is in there. I've got a 40' container double doors on each end. I have the renegade rolling chassis and the 55 in there right now. Plan is for the tux to spend the winter in there. I'm hopping a pole barn shop is in my future but we will see. Building prices are obviously stupid right now.

I see household wire nuts. Shades of my '71 when I got it. I think I removed 13 of those in the end.
