No new frames AFAIK, other than rock crawler/ buggy type tube frames. Not much demand, because the body rots away before the frame does, typically. More frames or rolling chassis available than bodies. Replacement bodies have been available for many decades, both steel and fiberglass.

The frames of these Jeeps are normally quite flexy. How is it bent?

First post. Welcome from Boston. Posting your location in your signature file or profile might help.

A competent body shop should be able to straighten the frame or you can do this yourself with patience, chains, blocks, and bottle jacks. The proper dimensions are given in the factory service manual (FSM).

    Welcome aboard.

I'm considering a TDK frame. My frame is off where the original owner did a power steering conversion and I have found some cracks that have been welded. Seems by the time I repair and box it in because I don't care for the body flex I could pick up a TDK one done.

I used a TDK frame. They are well made and everything lined up fine. I ordered it without engine mounts or front spring and shackle hangers. We out boarded my springs and installed a Chevy power plant. TDK will do custom work if you want changes made to the frame.

One additional note. TDK will have your frame hot-dipped galvanized if you want them to. There is of course an extra charge for this. They have to ship it to Washington state to have it done.

I elected for the bare frame and we painted it after the additional fab work was done.
