Hi guys, I'm looking for the stock spring shackle length, eye to eye, front and rear. Thanks in advance.

Somewhere here I may have my OEM shackles. But where?

Thank you sir. I think I'll either order/build some or go 1" lift. The shackles that came in it are 5.5", so almost 3" lift. Way too much. Rear pinion and front caster are very unhappy.

My 70 came with very long shackles from the PO as well....I replaced the with the warrior 1/2" lift shackles which are 3.25" eye to eye....I've since added caster shims when I installed the bds springs and would consider up to a 3.75" long shackle (could use a smidge more lift on the front end to clear the 33s)....anyway, as you've seen my 70 up close, it may help to know the specs...2.5bds springs, 5 degree caster shim, 3.25" shackle running 33x10.5 that pretty much max out the clearance....

Still haven't found mine. May never find em. But a search of the inter web says 3" c-c.

    I replaced my ' 75's shackle's from the ones in the pic's , to OEM shackle's that measure 2 3/4 " , on center. The pictured shackle's are 3 3/4 " , O.C. They are nice , powdercoated , & custom.... I believe ? If any one can use them , Please PM me.

IMG_0483.JPG I think my factory shackles are 3 in ctr to ctr. If you are using a lifted spring assy. you may need longer shackle length to accommodate the additional travel length of the springs from full compress to full ext. I bought some really good quality shackle kits from crabtree tool. He can make them in about any length and width you might need. The ones in the pic are for my YJ spring conversion project. They are 4 in ctr to ct

I may go that route James, I recall that setup worked really well. I'm still undecided how close to stock to make this. If really like to run the rubicon on 2021 with it though, so I'm likely doing the same 2.5" bds lift you did. Mostly just undecided on tires as I really want to keep my newly purchased stock 7" wide steel wheel. It'll probably land somewhere between yours and Tom's I think. On a side not , I just brought home a cj wide ratio t18 for it:bananatool:
