Green B Gets Shoes

Rode the green B to work tday, and when I got ready to come home the trailer was full of new BFG km3's


When I got home, I put the little feller on the lift and got to work

and then

they are 30x9.50x15. I still gotta get them balanced

 

The KM3s look good on that Jeep!

A Full review is needed
I was reading the km3 thread last night on the cj2a forum. If I see oldtime at the reunion I will see how he likes them on his. Seems a lot of jeeps are getting them.

 

These are my 1st KM3's. That deep aggressive tread should carry the B a long way.
The old tires were 6.50x16 Xtra Traction from STA. Honestly did ok in the dirt, but on wet pavement it was a hairy experience. They are bias ply.

Got to be a lot better than the old school winter tires you had. Looks Cool, too.

 

The tires look good, the 3B looks great and I am envious of your two post lift.

 

I had forgotten how "old school" bias ply tires really were.

Thanks Guys for the compliments, and now that I have had the lift for a few years, I'm not sure how I got along without it.
Here is the date on it.

I'm pretty bad to date things in my shop for the day of install. Lift, welder, air compressor, etc. Anybody else do that??

Got my new KM3's balanced tday, we'll see how they do tomorrow.

 

I don't "Date" my stuff, but at 74, I wish I had,Now I just guess when I got it.

 

YE HA the little green B is the smoothest it has ever been. Ran it up to 60mph (fast enough for me) and it was very smooth. I'm happy.
