I think the yellow dash is right on. Here is pic of my 67 dash with electric wipers, and the flat sided hole to the right of the column for a throttle cable. My dash shows two holes at the top left, which were for a military rifle holder. No other holes were added. Mine shows remnants of the bitchin stick on wood grain, from the late 70's 2020-07-21_19.59.06_copy_800x450_177711140976791.jpg

Thanks @hman442. Do you or @maurywhurt happen to know if you have any holes on the bottom "foldover" of your dashes? There are a ton on mine and wondering if they belong there or not. A3C59B43-B569-42AD-A70B-956EF8FDBCF7.jpeg C628E629-E24F-41B1-BC5C-25E296521FD9.jpeg

There are holes in the bottom lip for the parking brake, heater control & glove box door hinges at least.

Agreed. There's also one for grounding the wiper harness (on my '67), as well as the two bolt holes flanking the steering column "scallop", if you're counting those.

Thanks guys I will ask Dan if he puts these in. @Steve's 70-5 do you know if Dan did for you?

I'm also noticing that Dan has an extra mounting hole at lower right/left corner in his layout. My dash, and pictures you guys have posted here of yours, only have one 0.375" dia. hole along the left/right sides, which is 3.15" up from the unfolded bottom.

I also seem to have two tiny holes at the top corners of the glove box hole that look factory - but don't see these on anyone else's pictures? Wondering if these go along with the plastic glove box that my PO installed.

I'm working with Dan @ Double D Fabrication to add the holes along the bottom fold.

@Howard Eisenhauer said there are holes for:
    • Parking Brake handle
    • Heater Control
    • Glove Box Door hinges

Here is a drawing schematic of the holes that I have on the bottom fold of my dash. Green are ones I think are OEM, red I am not sure about. Can anyone look on their dashboard and please tell me which ones belong there, and which ones do not? I recall having a 12V cigarette lighter adapter, a CB radio handset, extra gauges and other non-OEM stuff I tore off a few years ago. The two green holes at left side are for the parking brake handle, and the ones at the right are for the hinges for the. glove box door. There should be holes for heater control somewhere on here that I turn from red to green. Are these to the right of the steering column, under the speedometer cluster? Thanks!

Which are the two holes for the heater control box? Does this go under the speedo cluster hole on the main dash panel face or is it further to the RH side?

Can anyone who still has the Ebrake handle mounted under driver side of their dash please advise if it mounts with one or two holes?

My jeep did not have the E brake on it when I got it but the handle was in the parts box that I inherited. The handle that I have only has one hole. And there are two matching-size (0.368”) holes on the fold over under the dash.

Earlier ones with the "cane" type handle use two holes. The '65 up parts manual shows the T handle with a single hole mount like yours.

Thank you @Howard Eisenhauer . Does it matter which hole it mounts to?

And, are there any other holes on the bottom fold over besides these, the heater control, and the glove box hinges?

My late '68/early '69 dash board is very unmolested. Starting from left and going to right:

Parking brake area. All these holes have factory paint and look to be original. Three large, two small.

Center of dash. The only visible holes are for the heater controls. I don't know if there are additional holes hidden by the controls.

Right side of dash. There is a hole where I have the cigarette lighter outlet zip tied. Not sure if original, but if you have one in the same place, it probably is. Then two holes for the glove box door.

Ignore my duct tape and wood repaired glove box. I haven't gotten around to doing anything with it yet.

Nice documentation shots Fireball. Its interesting to see Kaiser added a spacer between the heater contol and the dash. My Jeeps are a few years earlier and didn't come with this feature. Also, your parking brake handle appears to have black paint wearing off. That looks like the same handles my earlier models have, but mine are just unpainted black plastic. Its also nice to see the correct phillips screws fastening all the accessories to the dash.
I have to pick at your key folb; those are AMC colors!

Do you guys know why the key hole was moved from R to L of the speedo cluster by ‘69?

I know, that's all I could find. I've thought about taking some orange paint to it.

Almost at the finish line with Double D for my dash. Last item is the wind latch. Here is a pic of mine, front:

    His detail measures up different:

    And here's what I measure:

Does anyone know if there is a "late" versus "early" windshield latch?
