Ugh!!! M-100 Or M-416 Lunette Holder Casting

    SOOOOOOOO I ordered a new landing leg casting to go on my M416 trailer.
    I put it on and the casting does not reach the spring hold pin.

    So Is my casting for my trailer an M100?

    When i first bolted the tongue to the trailer i noticed the casting only had one provision for the lunette ring, where most m416s had two spots to put the lunnette. I "Assumed" it was something to do with being an M416B1 Marine trailer

    What do you think?

    The M100 and M416 castings are not interchangeable.

    Looks like the casting is an m101. i had a friend measure his and it looked to be a match. So it was changed out.
    Now to see if i can sell this pivot or trade for a m101.

    Is the pivots cast iron or cast steel? Maybe i could weld on a piece of plate to extend things.
