More of a thumbs up to www.jeepsterguru.com then anything else. He did my seats while I was away. They where waiting for me when I got back from my work trip, two weeks turn around. All and all very happy, I would recommend him if anyone needs upholstery work.

All in all the seats werent in terrible shape but they were getting worse.

I supplied the center vinyl, which I got from SMS auto fabrics out of Oregon. He did the rest. I ordered 1.5 yards and I probably have enough left over to do the rear seat.

Those look awesome. The center material looks like a real good match to original. Nice job he did. I have been thinking about sending a set from my 71 Jeepster/Commando to him.

You know, I think it was. Its a lot more then if I just ordered the Smitty built ones. But I am sucker for originality. It was way cheaper then anyone local could have done them. I asked around and I was looking into the $1200-$1500.
JeepsterGuru, got them done for about $580 with the shipping back to my house North Seattle area. But I think it really comes down to the amount of foam work they have to do. I never asked though.

Started life out as a /6, 3 on the tree, Coronet (just Coronet not even a delux). Day time rear view mirror only, one side view mirror, radio/ cig lighter/ heater/ power steering delete, no chrome, no power brakes, no trunk light I mean bear bones only option was a two speed windshield wiper motor. It took some doing and some building and a few really good mopar guys but you wouldnt know it was never anything but a factory 426 car....except the vin theres always the vin.

Is that the narrow striped material like what was used on the early Renegade I's?

WOW, can't remember the last time I saw a real Hemi in a car. I love it. When I was a kid, I had a pair of 70 Road Runners, each had the 383. Seemed everyone else was running a Hemi in their Chryslers. The I had the 340's and 360's, but never the Hemi. Oh well, I'm not dead yet, there is still time............................if I could just stop working on Jeeps for a while. :censored:

Not sure about the renegade but it is the same material that was in my '71 when I bought it. The seats were original to the JEEP. I like that material/design a lot.

They look awesome! If you don't mind me bugging a little more, was the 580 including the cost of vinyl or just his labor/shipping? Either way I think that's very reasonable. Just trying to see what I would have to budget if I wanted to get a set done, looks like he would be the man.

I only supplied the center vinyl. as he doesnt have it. the black vinyl he supplied. I would ask him for a qoute or talk to him directly. I think its also dependent on the condition of your seat.
I paid the shipping there. The 580 was the shipping back, black vinyl, foam work and sewing with.
Also I spent the money on a 24x24x24 box from UPS I it make it easier as he shipped out back in same box
