Can't help on I.D. but I have operated a few and didn't really think much of them. They do seem to be strong however.

    Dualmatic, aftermarket not factory equipment.

Howard beat me to it! Those Dualmatics were popular in the late 1950's through maybe the mid 1960's. They are a bit tedious to lock in and lock out, but I have never seen one break.
A nice period accessory in my opinion.

Awesome! Thanks! So aftermarket upgrade for that time? I really like them but was wondering how and where they came from. Haven’t seen them on any Jeeps yet.

The only thing iv seen that iv seen go wrong on them is the little poppet balls staked into the aluminum that hold the leavres in get messed up. Other than that they are super simple compared to others

Broke them on an otherwise completely stock FC 150. They suffer the same limiting two point cam system as the Cutlass where the entire load is supported by just those two small contact areas. Both of the Dualmatic hubs on the FC 150 split the housing. I replaced them with early Warns. End of problems.

One side of the lever is stamped "free", the other side is stamped "lock". Clean them off with steel wool.

I have them on the A1 (Dana 25). Just always liked the looks of them.

I had a set, I was told they were "Cutlass", I gave them to a collector. They did have two levers that you pulled one end out, rotated 180 degrees, and pressed them back in place, Good luck!

Thanks. I cleaned the levers up with scotch brute and could see the Lock and Free stamps. Thanks for the information.
