    Have you tried Carl Walck?

He should have some NOS around, I know he has NOS speedo clusters.

Once you get it you will be sorely tempted to see if it works before you install it.

Don't unless you have a ohmmeter and use it to test continuity only.

The grounding logic on the gauges is such that if it isn't all properly grounded you can burn out the gauge, or more likely, the sending unit in the tank.

By simply installing the gauge in the cluster and the cluster back in the dash you will be grounding it properly, but if you try it before it is put together, all the grounds may not be in place, and Zap! in a heartbeat the sender is gone. The gauge itself is a little more forgiving, but not much.

By the way, are you sure that the gauge is bad and not the sender???

If you haven't checked the sender, you might just do that before ripping into the dashboard.

I think you hit it right on the head...The dash unit was working sporadically along with the temp gauge. I checked all the mounting points of the cluster looking for any loose nuts to see if I could fix the possible ground problem…The temp unit seems to working fine but the gas gauge didn’t make it…I have checked the tank unit.. By grounding out the wire quickly at the tank which should make the dash unit move to full... No movement at all..
