Cardboard Defroster Duct Jeep Cj 5

I've never done this before so I'm not really sure about the cardboard material itself per se

The first glove box that I tried to make I went to the upholstery shop that did my seats, they gave me a piece big enough to make a glove box that material was dead on couldn't ask for a better example same thickness and same density as the original.

I then went to a upholstery supply store and bought a piece of cardboard door panel, it was the same thickness as the original however the second one felt like the fibers weren't as dense as the first one. So I don't know if this material comes in different grades? or different manufacturers make different density.

can't tell if the first one has a Water resistant coating on it or not .
