Has anyone done this combination? I have the reverse Saginaw, Ford style, setup behind the cross member. Has anyone used this setup with a 4.3V6 (or 225) swap?

My F Head was rather tired, and finally started puking exhaust into the coolant. I have a spare, so I'm putting that in, but still wondering about long term what I want in there. I like the idea of the 4.3, but not if I gotta re-engineer my steering again. I'm worried mostly about exhaust clearance and the steering rod. I would think the Ford style steering rod will be higher up than a Chevy style Saginaw setup.

    My search-foo is weak. TY!

I have an inside frame-rail ford setup, but I like that approach much more (live and learn), specially with a little more width of a D30. My issue is how close to the engine my steering rod is. I had to shorten my 134 exhaust manifold to fit this setup with the stock motor.
