Thinking of ditching the offset D44 and the axle I'm thinking on has wider spring pads.
Anyone have pics of outboard hangers?

Here are some pics i have been saving up. I am going to do the one that the guy boxed it in. Pretty much it is a piece of angle iron that is boxed in. I am going to also run a piece of plte that will weld to the bottom of the angle and to the bottom of the frame. A bit over kill but will work. Only problem i have been thinking about is the steering, you will have to notch holes in the side and sleeve it and run the montuing bolts throguh the outboard spring mount.

Here's what I made for the Flattie. The upper part is (obviously) angle iron with two gussets. It bolts to the frame with 5 bolts. The lower half is a box I made by welding two pieces of angle together, then closed in the ends with flatbar. I mitered the ends, just for looks. It bolts to the upper half with 5 bolts. The reason I made them seperate is b/c I thought I might convert to YJ springs sometime in the future, which would require a wider lower mount.

This is from a DJ frame I have behind the shop. Obviously not as nice as Tim's & Dan's .
