You beat me to it. Google 'Chrome Mudflap' and go to images... lots of flap-bling to choose from.

No ladies (Remember...I might let my daughter drive this to volleyball practice or frozen yogurt).

    Finished.

Out for a Sunday drive with the daughter to see how she does...She did great! She respects this modified machine's strengths and weaknesses.

Met up with a guy and picked up a steering wheel column. When the youngest gets home from practice we'll install it together.

The one in the XJ is a little broken and you didn't need a key to start it.

Also pulled the on board air tank & gauges from the donor XJ while I was there...He included an "Air Compressor" switch.

The other day the daughter was pulling into the drive way and I went out to assist her backing it up where I wanted it. I noticed smoke coming from under the hood and I freaked out with my baby sitting in the XJ. I yelled to shut it off until she figured out that I was in a panic (I may have over reacted, but that's my kid in there). I looked things over and suspected some fluid cooking on the block...Whew!

Today I had time to trace the problem...Power steering pressure hose had a pin hole leak that was shooting on the exhaust manifold. Quick trip to FLAPS and I'll have it going here soon. I need to get off the computer and have some wrench fun!

Getting to use my tool cart :)
