Rolling Tool Carts

    here's my homemade . folds down to keep me from piling junk on it (collect all )
    works good out in driveway . end of day of working . pile all tools and parts on it roll it back into garage

    Nice cart! I'm feeling left behind here......:cry:

    I keep most of my main tools in one toolbox and lug it outside if I am working in the driveway (or to the pick-n-pull when harvesting car parts). It weighs a lot, good thing they have wheelbarrows at the pick-n-pull. I keep a bucket that I place tools in as I use them to take stuff apart as I know I'll need them when putting it back together. Individual sockets go in the bucket, not the whole rail of sockets. When I'm done, I empty the bucket-o-tools back into the tool box or where I got them from in the garage. Rolling platform would be real nice, but I'd have to find a place to store it in my full garage though.

    I use a 5gl bucket with one of those slip on tool pouches. It's excellent, I load it with job specific tools and empty it when I'm finished.

    My work cart...
    Ive got most of the stuff i use on every car in here. Wrenches in the top drawer-metric. Ive got flex head and solid head gear wrenches along with regular wrenches. Bottom is almost all my air stuff. In the top ive got 3 socket rails that stick by magnet. Those keep my impacts. Got a magnet tray that gets my notmal sockets as they collect. Otherwise i wouldnt be able to find them as the clutter grows thru the day:D

    Good to know I'm not the only one like that.;) As I complete a vehicle repair, I put away the tools I won't need again on the next trip to the toolbox for a different tool. Preparing food, same as you, clean up pots and pans as you cook and there is less to clean later.(y)

    I like all the ingenious variations of everyone's tool carts shown here............from storage to just enough room for tools to a mobile work center , everyone has a favorite that suits their needs..................My favorite cart is a little of everything......2'x4' with 1/4" plate on top plus a vise , roll it to the job inside or out........beat on things , grind , weld , disassemble or fabrication is only left to your imagination.............the Miller 211 Mig permanently rides unneath as will as the 15" chop saw when not in use...........

    Oh man I wish I would have bought one sooner...Love this hing. Yes...I use a knee board to save my knees.

    If you look at my cart there is a piece of 1 1/2" foam left over from my old pole barn insulation. I use it when i need to kneel on the floor
