Those who have installed a SI10 or a SI12 in their dauntless, where did you clock your wiring harness? Up, down, drivers, or passenger side?

Getting ready to purchase an alternator. I will be using a painless or other wiring harness when I get to that point as my project does not have one.

    Thanks

The plug should be up and to the passenger side.

my alternator only mounts one way, with the plug up and slightly to the passengers side.

It's very easy to re-clock the alternator so you can clock it 4 different positions to suit yourself.

Does position matter? I'm doing the same on my 62. With a 225. With the painless wiring kit you should have enough wire to reach any position.

BTW I am also doing PS conversion but am concerned about belts and which pulley they should connect to. Original V6 had one belt to cover all 3 pulleys. How is the PS connected if any of you have done this
