Now that a few of you have seen it, is it a real one or not?

Quite possibly is, it does have the hole in the hood.

aallison 74 cj6, 76 cj5. Has anyone seen my screwdriver?

Seems to have the correct front bumper. Hole in the hood might be right but you can cut a hole in any hood. Would want to see more picts. For the price and what it is, and it looks somewhat solid, I'd go see it with cash in my pocket and a trailer on the truck.

True but you can also kind of make out the holes for the scoop which appear to be in the correct position. Haven't heard whether it's in the registry or not and there's no pictures of it on the web site. Too bad the fenders are all cut.

What's special about that front bumper? Looks like mine

I'm also wondering what's special and not because of aallisons post, someone else mentioned that. I've seen a few Hursts over the years, nothing special, same as any other Jeepster bumper.

This one is documented in the registry. The year, build date and vin number all coincide with all the Hurst data. As far as the hole in the hood, yes anyone could cut a hole if you had a pattern of what it looked like and where to cut it. The Hurst hood also has a sheet metal air defector spot welded on the inside.

This Hurst is a 3 speed model has the emblems and hard to find tach. About 20% we have in the registry are T-14 3 speeds, the rest are TH400. This would be a steal at $1000.00 for someone to restore back to original. It's missing the hood scoop

A Hurst Jeepster front bumper is no different than any other 1967-1971 Jeepster Commando front bumper

Currently we have documented 88 Hurst Jeepster Commandos
