HySteer

    Ive decided to go with the hysteer. Here is my design, and rmyers will be makign ti for me.

    I will be using 1ton chevy rod ends, and now have the montecarlo steering box installed... with this setup ill be so near to parral shouldnt ahve no bump steer.

    You may notice the drag link is set up to go behind the tierod, which isnt typical. Thats becuase the monte box has a longer pitman arm which shoves it back farther, and with it there, it puts it to an almost stright line with the pitman arm, and it cna still turn 100% of its radius.

    you making the arm yourself?? What are you using??

    Having a buddy that owns a machine shop make them... HAvent gotten as far into details as what they will be amd eof etc yet... im leavign that up to him, he does this stuff for a living and knows the strengths and weaknesses.

    I built the hysteer for my Dana 44. I used some 1" thick plate for my arms. What front end are you putting this on and are you SOA?

    Its a closed 30, and yes im soa... not much use for hysteer without....
