I have been absent here for a while. A few months ago I found the motavation to finish my jeep. I am pround to say that I am now almost finsihed with my project. I started this in Sept. of 2007. I was nieve to think that a rebuild would be a few months and few thousand dollars. Man... I was wrong. I bought my 1967 CJ6 and brought it home on a trailer. I started taking it apart and one problem led to the next. With the help of some friends, I was able to drive my jeep for the first time this past Monday. I still have a few minor bugs to work out, and get a roll cage built, but I'm happy with the way it turned out. Thanks to the members here that sold parts and offered advise. Here is what I ended up with...[IMG]

Just so you know, the girl in my jeep is my daughter. She is now over 5 years old. This is a picture of her when I was first starting my project. [IMG]

Thank You! Yes they are 17" wheels. I aquired some factory steel wheels, but they would not clear my disk brakes and calipers. I had to go with after market aluminum.

Wow, great looking Jeep. What color is that?

The color is a GM color that started on 06 and / or 07 half ton trucks. It is called Blue Granite Metallic.

Lol yeah I know that thought very well! Super nice job, congratulations. There is no greater feeling in the world than the first drive after so many years of blood, sweat, and tears.
