75 CJ5, how many leaf springs should it have?

    I think someone added a "helper leaf" to my front and rear leaf springs on my CJ-5 before I took over the rebuild.

    How many leafs do the front and rear spring sets have?

    My 1974 FSM lists Standard front=7 rear=5, Optional front=10, rear=10 for the CJ5.

    I'll have to check NEXT weekend. The Jeep is stored at my Dads.

    It rides like a stagecoach, except STIFFER! I realize it is lighter than stock, since I have a fiberglass tub. But it is a little ridiculous.

    (Besides, my dad mentioned that when he had the leafs rebuilt, he thinks a spring or 2 was added....)
